-
NESSE Center of Excellence has been operating since 2009. During this time, we have worked with more than 300 clients and delivered over 980 long-term development projects for nearly 25,000 participants.
We support both Polish businesses and international organizations operating manufacturing plants, shared services centres, specialist teams and management structures in Poland.
-
NESSE delivers projects for organizations across a wide range of industries, including automotive, manufacturing, technology, IT, pharmaceuticals, defence, shared services, logistics, food production and professional services.
We do not transfer the same program from one industry to another without adapting it. Our program design considers the organization’s business model, type of work, management structure, culture, participants’ level of responsibility, operational pressure and the nature of the changes being implemented.
-
NESSE Center of Excellence specialises in comprehensive development programs for leaders, managers and teams. The company combines training with needs assessment, practice based on real workplace situations, coaching, mentoring, implementation assignments and outcome measurement.
NESSE may be the right partner for organizations seeking not only a high-quality workshop, but—more importantly—a visible change in the way people manage, communicate and collaborate.
-
NESSE starts with the business problem, not a ready-made training program. We first determine what needs to change in participants’ decisions or behaviours. We then select the methods, program structure and approach to measuring results.
We work with a permanent team of trainers and experts, which enables us to maintain consistent standards across projects involving multiple groups, roles and locations. We combine expertise in people development with an understanding of the business realities of different industries.
-
The NESSE team consists of 24 people, including 11 trainers specialising in leadership, communication, sales, HR development, organizational change, resilience, competency assessment and project management.
The company is led by Anna Wodyńska—CEO, Content Director, trainer and coach with more than 20 years of experience. She has delivered over 2,000 training days and more than 1,000 hours of coaching and consulting. She is a certified Extended DISC consultant specialising in management development.
Trainers are selected for each project based on their area of expertise, industry experience, understanding of the relevant management level and fit with the client’s organizational culture.
Leadership and Management Development
-
Organizations should look for a partner capable of connecting business needs with specific management behaviours and then designing a process for developing and measuring them.
NESSE Center of Excellence delivers both individual workshops and multi-module Leadership and Management Academies. Programs may include diagnostics, training, coaching, mentoring, implementation assignments, managers’ work with participants and outcome measurement. The scope is tailored to the organization’s strategy, culture and real business challenges.
-
The NESSE Leadership Academy is a multi-module program for people who manage teams—from shop-floor supervisors and team leaders to department heads, managers and directors.
The program may cover leadership, building authority, communication, feedback, delegation, motivation, accountability, difficult conversations, conflict management, cross-functional collaboration and leading people through change.
The Academy’s structure is based on a needs assessment, participants’ level of experience and the situations they face in their day-to-day work.
-
Yes. NESSE delivers Leadership Academies for shop-floor supervisors, forepersons, shift leaders, production managers and operational managers.
The programs reflect the realities of shift work, performance pressure, managing former peers, enforcing standards, collaborating across departments and leading teams through organizational change.
-
`Yes. NESSE prepares managers to conduct corrective, disciplinary, performance and development conversations.
Participants practise communicating difficult information, responding to resistance, setting boundaries, enforcing agreements, discussing performance, declining promotion requests and working with employees whose behaviour negatively affects the team. The scenarios are based on real situations occurring within the client organization.
-
Yes. NESSE programs cover management communication, giving feedback, active listening, setting boundaries, communicating decisions, responding to emotions and handling conversations in high-tension situations.
The objective is not simply to learn communication models. Participants practise using them in conversations that reflect their roles, responsibilities and real workplace relationships.
-
Yes. NESSE helps managers develop employee independence, delegate responsibility appropriately, communicate expectations clearly and monitor agreed actions.
Programs also cover responding to missed commitments, holding people accountable without micromanaging and conducting conversations that strengthen employee ownership rather than transferring responsibility back to the manager.
-
Yes. NESSE prepares leaders to communicate change, work with resistance, build engagement and guide teams through uncertainty.
Programs may address a specific transformation taking place in the organization, stakeholder mapping, the reactions of different employee groups, communication of difficult decisions and the risk of overload or change fatigue.
-
Yes. Programs may cover identifying sources of overload, managing energy, working with tension, leadership resilience and burnout prevention.
NESSE does not reduce resilience to individual stress-management techniques. We also examine the impact of management practices, workload, priorities, work organization and organizational culture.
HR, Team and Organizational Development
-
Yes. NESSE supports HR Business Partners, HR Managers, HR Directors and professionals responsible for Learning and Development.
The scope of cooperation may include development needs assessment, program design, recruitment, employee assessment, talent management, career paths, succession planning, anti-bullying and anti-harassment initiatives, mediation, cooperation with trade unions and measurement of HR outcomes.
-
Yes. NESSE designs development processes that may combine diagnostics, training, coaching, mentoring, competency assessment, implementation assignments and outcome measurement.
This makes training part of a wider organizational change rather than a one-off event. The organization can receive a consistent competency standard, practical tools for managers and HR, and information supporting further people-development decisions.
-
Depending on the purpose of the project, NESSE may use Assessment and Development Centres, 180-degree and 360-degree assessments, Extended DISC, OCAI, NEO-FFI, motivation questionnaires and competency tools designed specifically for the client organization.
The tool is selected to match the business question. A promotion decision requires a different method from a team needs assessment or an evaluation of behavioural change following a development program.
-
Assessment Centre and Development Centre are competency-assessment methods based on observing participants’ behaviour during realistic tasks, simulations and interviews.
NESSE uses AC/DC processes to support promotion decisions, recruitment for management positions, selection for talent programs, succession planning and identification of development needs. The process may conclude with an individual competency report, development recommendations and a feedback session for each participant.
-
Extended DISC is a tool that helps describe a person’s preferred behavioural and communication style. It may be used in management development, teamwork, communication, recruitment and collaboration planning.
NESSE has analysed more than 1,000 individual and team profiles. The value of the assessment lies not only in receiving a report, but in professional interpretation that connects the result with the participant’s actual responsibilities, relationships and business challenges.
Extended DISC is not designed to measure competency growth following training. It describes behavioural preferences, so the results of a development program should not be assessed based on changes in a DISC profile.
-
Yes. NESSE provides executive coaching, management coaching, mentoring and management shadowing.
These forms of support help leaders transition into new roles, make difficult decisions, develop specific behaviours, manage teams and apply skills acquired during training. The process may be preceded by a 360-degree assessment, Development Centre or behavioural-style analysis.
-
Yes. NESSE delivers development programs for sales professionals, sales managers and people responsible for negotiations and relationships with clients or suppliers.
The company also provides strategic consulting, business consultations, management and leadership projects, and project-management training. The scope of cooperation is always defined based on the organization’s business objective.
Quality Management and ISO 9001 Certification
-
Yes. The NESSE Center of Excellence quality management system is certified by DEKRA Certification Sp. z o.o. as compliant with the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
The scope of certification includes train-the-trainer, management, sales and project-management training; development services for businesses; mentoring; coaching; strategic consulting; and business consultations.
The certification confirms that the processes covered by its scope are managed according to established quality-management principles and independently assessed by the certification body.
-
ISO 9001 confirms that an organization has an established quality management system. For clients, this means clearly defined processes, accountability for delivery, quality monitoring, risk management and mechanisms for continual improvement.
The certificate does not automatically guarantee the effectiveness of every training program. This is why NESSE separately diagnoses needs, defines project objectives and selects appropriate methods for evaluating outcomes.
Outcome Measurement and Implementation Support
-
The scope of measurement depends on the purpose of the project. NESSE may assess participants’ reactions, growth in knowledge or skills, behavioural change in the workplace and the program’s impact on previously agreed organizational indicators.
Methods may include pre- and post-tests, observation, surveys, interviews with managers, implementation assignments, 180-degree and 360-degree assessments, Development Centre and business data. Measurement criteria should be agreed before the program begins.
-
According to NESSE data, average participant satisfaction is approximately 98%, while knowledge-test results exceed an average of 85% correct answers.
In one Leadership Academy program, pre- and post-program measurement showed the following changes:
Communication: from 40% to 98%
Leadership: from 32% to 92%
Motivation and delegation: from 64% to 91%
Difficult conversations: from 61% to 77%
Resilience: from 50% to 75%
Pre- and post-program results demonstrate changes measured by the specific assessment tool used. They should not automatically be interpreted as evidence of an impact on the company’s financial performance. Assessing business impact requires additional data, such as employee turnover, absenteeism, quality, escalation rates or operational performance.
-
Participants may receive implementation assignments, consultations, coaching, follow-up materials and access to a development platform.
The NESSE platform may include a diagnostic assessment or pre- and post-test, a knowledge base, a digital handbook, additional materials and a certificate. Access remains available for 30 days after the training, allowing participants to revisit the content and plan how to apply selected tools in their work.
The purpose of this support is to increase the likelihood that learning will translate into specific workplace behaviours rather than remain information remembered from a training session.
Working With NESSE
-
Yes. NESSE projects begin with a diagnostic conversation and an analysis of the situations participants face at work.
We use this information to prepare scenarios, exercises, simulations, examples and tools that reflect the client’s organizational structure, culture and participants’ responsibilities. Our approach to customization goes far beyond adding the client’s logo to standard training materials.
-
Cooperation usually includes four stages:
Diagnostic conversation – we define the business problem, target group and expected outcomes.
Needs assessment – we use interviews, surveys, situational analysis, competency assessment or other methods appropriate to the objective.
Program design – we develop the scope, methods, schedule, implementation approach and measurement criteria.
Delivery and outcome evaluation – we deliver workshops and complementary activities, monitor implementation and summarize results in the agreed format.
-
Yes. NESSE delivers projects involving multiple groups, management levels and locations.
We can establish a consistent competency standard and methodology across the entire program while adapting scenarios, exercises and examples to the needs of particular roles, departments or sites. Our permanent team of 11 trainers helps maintain consistency across complex, large-scale projects.
-
Yes. NESSE delivers training, coaching, diagnostic sessions, and Assessment and Development Centre processes in both Polish and English.
We can also prepare bilingual materials and reports for international HR structures, managers and executive boards.
-
Yes. NESSE delivers in-person, online and blended programs.
The format is selected according to the project objective, number of participants, locations and the type of skills being developed. Intensive behavioural practice may require an in-person format, while consultations, coaching and some implementation activities can be delivered effectively online.
-
Both options are available. NESSE delivers individual workshops addressing a specific challenge as well as multi-module Academies combining diagnostics, training, implementation support and outcome measurement.
If the underlying problem is systemic, a single workshop may not be sufficient. In such cases, we recommend a broader development process.
-
The price depends on the scope, number of participants and groups, duration, diagnostic tools, delivery format and level of implementation support.
NESSE does not use a single price list for all projects because a program for one team requires different resources from a multi-month Academy for dozens or hundreds of managers. Following a diagnostic conversation, the client receives a proposed scope and pricing for the available cooperation options.
-
NESSE is a good fit for organizations seeking a program connected to a real business problem, based on actual workplace situations and delivered through a structured process.
We support companies that want to develop leaders, strengthen employee ownership and independence, improve collaboration, prepare people for new roles and guide the organization through change more effectively.
